Who We Are

Born from Survival,
Built on Purpose

"Humura" means be comforted in Kinyarwanda. Since 2001, we have been a survivor-led community in Ottawa dedicated to remembrance, healing, and action — keeping truth alive so justice can prevail.

💙 Healing
Culturally informed support and safe spaces for survivors.
🌱 Youth
Building the next generation of leaders rooted in unity.
⚖️ Justice
Confronting denial and advocating for human rights.
Our Story →

"We remember not only by looking back, but by the care we extend today. In every story shared and every hand held, memory becomes a path to healing — and to a more just tomorrow."
